A personal website set up by Youth Fellowship & Rescue, A Christian Youth Group for parents, educators, teen groups, and law enforcement to educate youth on the risks of drug abuse. It shows video clips about real consequences of drugs abuse, with advice to parents.
Subject-based: http://www.drugabusestatistics.samhsa.gov/dependence.htm
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has established a clear vision for its work -- a life in the community for everyone. To realize this vision, the Agency has sharply focused its mission on building resilience and facilitating recovery for people with or at risk for mental or substance use disorders. SAMHSA is gearing all of its resources -- programs, policies and grants -- toward that outcome. It includes reports on drug abuse & dependence.
To start off with this activity, I try using search engines like yahoo, google and even wikipedia to find out information on the research toipic on "Impact of drugs abuse on youths". The result in yahoo and google came out with too many results, so i decided to shorten my keyword for better results. They include 'youth drug abuse' and 'drug abuse'. The research progress then smoothen because of lessing website and more specific topics.
Organisational website is the collection of www pages maintained by organisation. The website contains extensive materials on the impact of drug abuse on youths
For personal website, it is usually maintained by an individual. The topic relates to his/her interest, includes reading and video. These materials are all related to the information and issues i want to find out.
Subject-base website has a particular subject focus, in this case drugs abuse. There is normally overlap between these and the organizational sites or the personal sites. Some subjects are more easily found than others. However, it's not always the case.
